MindWellRx Academy is a training company designed to help agencies and organizations in the human services field meet their employee’s training requirement. MindWellRx Academy is a subsidiary of the Care Group of Pharmacies.
In conjunction with several residential service providers, we developed and began offering Core Competency Courses in 2012. These courses are required by the Nova Scotia Government for agencies providing support services to children, youth and adults with intellectual disabilities, long term mental illness and physical disabilities in a range of community-based living options and day programs.
We offer fully on-line Core Competency courses as well as blended classes, with both an on-line and in-person component. We offer these courses to over 60 employers across the province.
If you are looking to start a career in the human services industry and want to improve the attractiveness of your resume to potential employers, you should consider taking our Core Competency Courses. Even if you are looking for employment outside of Nova Scotia, our Medication Awareness Course is an excellent way to improve your knowledge and skill set and better prepare you for a wide variety of employment settings.
